Lean Six Sigma is a business management concept that works to increase customer satisfaction while also eliminating waste and growing profit. Lean Six Sigma combines the previous models of Lean business process and Six Sigma management for the most effective managerial process. Gary Kapanowski notes that Lean Six Sigma is based on an approach to eliminate eight kinds of waste, including: Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, Non-Utilized Talent, Transportation, Inventory, Motion, and Extra-Processing. Gary Kapanowski believes that Lean Six Sigma is most effective for maximizing business success because of the data-driven approach the process takes. This focus on statistical data, customer needs, and expert knowledge of business process makes Lean Six Sigma an efficient model for business management.

Lean Six Sigma is extremely useful and Gary Kapanowski can point to multiple Master Black Belt case studies that show direct and indirect benefits for companies. From new shipping processes to scrap projects, companies utilizing Lean Six Sigma have the potential to save hundreds of thousands of dollars. Gary Kapanowski highly encourages companies looking to eliminate waste and boost profit potential to reach out to him or others certified in Lean Six Sigma for immediate and long-term benefits.
